All About Teeth

Your dog is incredibly important to you. But sometimes you need a bit of help when it comes to caring for them. Brushing teeth can be especially difficult. Our team is now trained in the proper ways to brush your dog's teeth in a calm and safe manner. You can add manual brushing to your grooms at any of our salons or as a stand-alone service.

We also offer Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic brushing, this is bookable as a separate appointment. This offers a longer session of brushing, and the ultrasonic vibrations help to breakdown plaque and tartar with almost no noise to stress your pet.

Any brushing is subject to us assessing your pet's mouth is in a condition that is safe for us to do so. We won't carry out brushing if any of the below apply:

• Loose teeth,

• Redness to the gums

• Recent veterinary procedures carried out

This is to keep your pet safe. We also want to make it clear we will not carry out any "plaque picking" or "scraping" which can cause damage to enamel for short-term results. While some groomers may do this, we believe it is not appropriate for groomers to carry out. The service we provide is to assist you with regular care for your pet. We cannot provide diagnosis or treatment of conditions, if you have any concerns about your pet's health please address this with your Vet.
